UYNBC Win With My Teamates!

The one time when my mouth opened, my chin dropped to the ground, and tears rolled down my face was when I was with my bowling team in Detroit competing for the USA Youth National Bowling Championship (UYNBC), and the best part is when we WON 1ST PLACE, and not only did we place 1st, we set a new world record for the UYNBC. It was just such a good and emotional felling knowing that all of the hard hours of work that we have put into this event FINALLY paid off. I am not talking about 30 minutes to 1 hour a day. I am talking about 3 to 4 even 5 hours every other day practicing strike shots, spares, splits etc. That all of the stressful, painful, and tiring nights that we have had have also paid off. There was nothing better than hearing our names being called on the microphone to come up for the trophy ceremony. I remember we went out to celebrate with DQ afterwards. That would probably be the mos mouth opening, chin dropping, and tear running event that has happened to me.

The Love of Music

I love music. Music is something that almost everyone can enjoy and relate to. It comes in different genres for people who like to listen to different kinds of music. Like jazz, hip hop, classical, gospel etc. Thousand and thousand of songs in each genre. There is also something about music that calms you down when you nervous, angry, sad, stressed that just calms you down and that makes you happier. It just calms every nerve in your body, and helps relax you. Also I love music because I play 2 instruments. I have been playing violin and cello for about 2 to 3 years now, and I absolutely love them both. Playing a musical instrument is just as great if not better than listening to it. I also think it is also good to learn to play a musical instrument, because it is skill that any can do if they learned young if not mid aged. Just like foreign languages. I think it is important to learn things while you are young, because you can take the things you learned with you as you get older. I love music and it will always be a big part of my life.

Bowling Is My Life

As you all know I absolutely love bowling. Bowling is my life. Mostly because I have been doing it all of my life, since I was three to be exact. I also love it because I am good at it, it is not a sport that you can really injure yourself in, and it is not a popular sport, but it is fun whether you are competing, or just bowling for fun. What I mean by that is in other sports like football, basketball, baseball etc. You are just focusing on winning or just being serious, but in bowling it is somewhat the same but you can have so much more fun while competing. You can be serious, but there are much more opportunities to joke around and have fun, but when you get on the lane you can always regroup. But in those other sports that I just named, there is no time to joke around, other than halftime, and still during that all you are doing is being coached and resting. But in bowling I feel like it could be the perfect sport for anyone. It is just so entertaining. But all of that being said,  bowling can also be one of the most difficult sports out there. When people go bowling for fun, and they win a game, or start bragging and start saying stuff like I'm the best bowler ever or stuff like that. They don't realize that they are bowling on THE easiest bowling pattern there is. People don't realize that there are HUNDREDS of different bowling patterns that make your bowling ball do different things. Like make it hook A LOT or make it hook VERY VERY LITTLE. Long  story short I love bowling because it is fun, a bit challenging, and THE BEST SPORT EVER!!!!!

# Shopping is Awesome

Shopping is one of the best things to do with your family. Mostly because it is a great way to bond and also you can have fun while doing it. But sometimes people can be very careless on the way they spend money and end up with items that do not even need. But when you follow your budget and buy the top things on your list, shopping can be a very fun activity. My family goes shopping at least every week if not every other week. We get to bond and have fun doing it. There is nothing better that bonding with your parents, and having fun doing it, because people can bond with their parents, but they may not have fun doing it. Like doing something their parents want to do but you do not like that activity or even vise versa. But shopping on the weekends is was my family and I get to bond together.

Pandas are awesome

Pandas are the most adorable animals ever. Not only are they adorable, but they are also very nice creatures. They are very soft and very fluffy. The reason I know this is because the last time I went to Xi'an China was in in March, and I got to pet them and see them up close. They were the most innocent little creatures I have ever touched in my entire life. It was so calm and so quiet. Because most wild animals do not really like you to pet them, but this panda bear was nice enough to let me pet him. Pandas are the best animals ever.

I think the dead pigs head meant that there is danger out in on the island, because it is dead plus it looks like something vicious killed it. So I am just predicting that it means that danger is near them and they need to be cautious. Plus the head is on a stick.

I am guessing that the quote means that they found out that life is not all fun and games, and when comes difficult situations, comes fast and critical thinking. That sometimes you are not given the answer, that most of the times you have to find it out on your own, and that sometimes the answer to life will be hard to get to, and you will have to improvise your way there.

Lord of the Flies Chapter 4

In chapter of Lord of The Flies. I think the conflict between the characters got stronger. Because they were still frustrated with each other, and people were still making fun of Piggy, and Jack was the main the main cause of the conflict. In the beginning of the book they were more shocked and chaos started to beak out. But now they are just complaining and getting on each others nerves, and now Jack is taking control on the bullying aspect of things. Nothing was really getting accomplished whole fighting. They just weren't working as well when they are fighting instead of working in harmony. So in real life if you don't work together, then your going to get very few things accomplished. They even started a fire on a tree, but that was back in chapter three. So will they get better or worse?

September 3, 2015

Dear Auntie,

Something terrible has happened. The plane crashed in the ocean! Luckily we found an island

close by. After the first dreadful night went by. The next morning people was in chaos and didn't

know what to do. But I did find a counch in the ocean while looking for food, and thankfully that had

bought some order up in the place, and the rule was if isn't have the cronch then you don't get to

speak. After that things started to get just a tad bit better. We is had two people who was goin for

group leader Jack, and Ralph. But we all decided that Ralph would be a better leader for us, even

Jack is older. After we had are meeting we decided that it will be best if we start on building shelters.

But everyone is making fun of me, in fact I even have a new nickname, PIGGY! Also nobody is

listening to me. I think because they are judging me on what I have to say with what I look like.

But anyway. Everything should clear up soon. I hope. Love you.

Sincerely,

                  Piggy

parents

Without grownups our world would not be the same as it is today. There would be no one to tell us when to calm down. There would be no on to tell and or show us how or what to do in hard situations. There would be no one to tell us what to do. There would be no one to tell us to stop ding bad things, especially when it could get them into big trouble if it keeps going. Grownups help us to make the right chooses and help catch us when we fall, to lift us back up when we fail. Grownups are basically are the cherry on top of our "world sundae".

How Curious?

"Sometimes people are born with disabilities, but it’s communities that handicap them.”Anonymous

I agree with this statement. Our society normally looks at disabled people and automatically label them. As a society we sometimes focus on this disability so much that we never attempt to find and grow the ABILITY. I mean that we define them but what the person can't do than what the can do. Communities often do not make the effort to understand people who may look, sound, or speak differently than us. In the book, I think Christopher saw doing well on the A-math exam as a way to get into college. A way to experience some of the independence of other teens his age. Despite the fact that he was good at math Mr. Jeavon was reserved to have him take the test.
One of my mom's closest friends son (GD)has autism. We both bowl and have competed with some success together over the last few years. I must say in the beginning my interactions with GD were odd. I did not know what to expect. My mom and I had to change the way we spoke, there is something to being direct when talking, saying what you mean.  , be more direct even with our jokes, that was hard. But in a few weeks my mom started to leave her bowling balls in the car expecting GD to take them. Standing in front of the doors until I our GD opened them, letting GD pump gas and eventually my mom talked his mom into letting him have a secured debit card (It only has $50 on it but it allows him to buy the small things in life without having to ask his mom.) My says GD is 19 about to be 20, he needs to be treated like the man he has become.  GD has become more social..looks at us when he speaks, gives us high fives when we bowl well. He even pats me on the head sometimes when I am not doing well. Appreciating, but not labeling  GD by his disability. Knowing that it is okay for GD to have failures and expectations like anyone else. My mom says taking that away puts and ceiling on who he can become. Well in terms of bowling GD has absolutely no disability or handicap .
